Some of us are aware we carry wounds from childhood. And for those who are not, the truth is, we all carry something. It is part of the human experience.
The way we were seen, held, spoken to, or not, the roles we took on, the emotions we learned to hide, all of it shapes how we move through life today.
Inner Child Therapy supports you in gently reconnecting with these younger parts of yourself, so they no longer run your patterns from beneath the surface.
What Is Inner Child Therapy?
Inner Child Therapy works with the younger parts of you that were shaped by early life experiences.
These experiences do not need to be extreme to leave an imprint.
What matters is how it felt to you.
This may include:
A difficult relationship with your mother or father
Feeling unseen, unheard, or misunderstood
Growing up too quickly
Being the responsible one
Conflict in the home
Emotional absence or neglect
Significant trauma
Or subtle emotional stress that was never acknowledged
These early experiences shape your attachment patterns, belief systems, emotional responses, and sense of safety. When emotions are not processed, they remain active in the unconscious and continue to influence adult life.
They may show up as:
Anxiety or low mood
Repeating relationship dynamics
- Self-doubt or imposter feelings
- People pleasing
- Emotional triggers
- Physical symptoms or ongoing conditions
This work also invites a deeper connection with the parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside, allowing you to meet them with understanding and compassion. Learning to love all parts of yourself & learn about the mirrors you create to this day in your life with those who frustrate and trigger you, which are echoes of wounds from childhood. To see the gold in everything you create in your life and learn to alchemise it all to live a more fulfilled and joyful life.

Each session is 1 hour, held in a safe and supportive space.
Together, we explore:
